Dr. Anne Brock of Bombay Sapphire Honoured at 2018 Craft Distilling Expo

Dr. Anne Brock, Master Distiller at Bombay Sapphire, has been presented with an award by the London Craft Distilling Expo. The award is for outstanding achievement in distilling and recognises the great contribution that she has made to the distilling community.

Her move to Bombay Sapphire has helped to bridge the gap between small and large distilleries, highlighting that all great gin distillers are interested in one thing: making delicious gin. The award is a bespoke copper sculpture inspired by the traditional Cognac still and was commissioned by the Craft Distilling Expo from English artisan trophy maker, Trev Smith.

About the Craft Distilling Expo

The Craft Distilling Expois a series of events revolving around a distilling trade show. It runs between the last Tuesday and Friday in September. The Expo, features over 40 vendors of distiller supplies – including still manufacturers, and bottle & closure suppliers – takes place at The Boiler House, Old Truman Brewery. A series of talks and masterclass take place during the expo involving some of the brightest mind from the distilling community and covering a range of technical and non-technical subjects.
