This holiday, GREY GOOSE® vodka invites revelers to make the most of celebrations big and small with the introduction of its “Give Victoriously” campaign. Though the festive season often places a high value on the presents beneath the tree, what truly matters is time spent with family and friends. Launching today, “Give Victoriously” challenges traditional gifting notions by reminding people that the best presents help transform moments shared with loved ones into lifelong memories. “Give Victoriously” is an extension of the brand’s global platform, “Live Victoriously,” which encourages consumers to treat themselves more often, no matter how big or small the occasion may be.
“As the leader of the super-premium vodka category, GREY GOOSE is already synonymous with exceptional quality. Our goal now is for consumers to recognize that GREY GOOSE is more than a delicious drink: it’s an experience, and one that can turn any moment into a celebration,” said Martin de Dreuille, Vice President Global Marketing at GREY GOOSE. “The theme and tone of the ‘Give Victoriously’ campaign are meant to underscore the idea that reasons for celebration are all around us.”
The holiday campaign consists of three 15-second content spots and a selection of print visuals that highlight how unforgettable moments with friends and family, shared over GREY GOOSE cocktails, can be the ultimate gift of the season. The content spots feature a variety of scenes, such as a group surprised by the joyful arrival of an out-of-town loved one, a man’s spontaneous open mic performance that captivates his friends, and a holiday party where only the bottle of GREY GOOSE has been unwrapped. Using overlaying taglines such as “Some Gifts You Don’t See Coming” and “Some Gifts Are Meant To Be Shared,” the campaign showcases that a present in a box is not the only way to make lifelong memories with those you love the most.
Director Nicole Ackermann – known for her distinct visual style and commercial work with American Airlines, McDonald’s and Samsung – leans into inspired visual and audio techniques to depict the “Give Victoriously” story. Each spot is punctuated by its vibrant sound design and instrumentals. A lively custom track for the “Some Gifts Are Meant To Be Shared” spot was created by Mophonics. The campaign spots are also produced by Clelia Mountford and actress & director Sharon Horgan’s production & entertainment company, Merman, whose other recent projects include Amazon Prime’s Catastrophe, HBO’s Divorce, Dove’s “Girl Collective” campaign and Ralph Lauren’s #LeadLikeAWoman campaign featuring Jessica Chastain.
“Give Victoriously” launches today, November 4th, with 15-second spots that will run on network and cable programs throughout the holiday season, supported by digital, print and OOH media. This will be Mullen Lowe’s first holiday campaign for GREY GOOSE® vodka.
