Exclusive Opening Night at Canvas Bar by BOMBAY SAPPHIRE – Stars Celebrate Creativity in Berlin

On the evening of October 17th, BOMBAY SAPPHIRE turned an unused underground station beneath Potsdamer Platz into Berlin’s premiere art spot. Until October 21st, ten selected artists will create a living art installation as they give new life to the plain station. Star-Photographer, Rankin joined the party full of art lovers. While snapping individual portraits of the artists and selected creative talents, he revealed, “I loved the CANVAS Cube in London, the whole vibe and atmosphere of the night. So I was expecting something brilliant because it’s Berlin, but we’re in the most nutty space I’ve ever seen and the size of it just got bigger and it seems that it could be an even more exciting experience.”

True to its motto “Stir Creativity”, CANVAS BAR is designed to inspire creative self-expression. That is why Kim Riedle and Ralph Kretschmar joined in to watch color-loving artist, Paul Schrader and the Genius of Letter-Art, Stefan Kunz as they created their magic. Kristian Schuller, Natalia Avelon and Roman Knižka did not miss the opportunity to experience the BOMBAY SAPPHIRE & Tonic Wall. Nadja Michael, Timur Bartels as well as Josephine Thiel got in on the action by customizing their own BOMBAY SAPPHIRE “CANVAS” cocktails with flavored paints and garnishes! “The variety of exquisite cocktails perfectly represent the versatility of the balanced character of Bombay Sapphire that is – just like a blank canvas – ready to get creative with”, explains Brand Ambassador Martin Thibault. The exclusive guests celebrated art, creativity and Canvas Cocktails until well after midnight.

During the upcoming days, there will be various Workshops coming from the artists and hosts including a Lettering Workshop with Stefan Kunz on Friday the 19th. There is also a Creativity Canvas Workshop on Saturday that will be hosted by Bombay Sapphire Brand Ambassador, Martin Thibault.
