Berlin 26.06.2026- In its annual collaboration dedicated to craftsmanship and heritage, Aberfeldy Single Malt Scotch Whisky is partnering for the first time with Fashion Council Germany (FCG).
Fashion Council Germany will invite emerging creatives to respond to Aberfeldy’s core values: heritage, craftsmanship, precision, exceptional materials, refined techniques, and the landscapes of Aberfeldy and Scotland, as well as the dialogue between tradition and modernity.
Celebrating craftsmanship through creative interpretation
As part of Aberfeldy’s continued commitment to strengthening its premium positioning, this activation expands the brand experience beyond taste and aroma. By introducing sight and touch through art, design, and creative expression, the collaboration reinforces Aberfeldy’s role as a platform for contemporary cultural dialogue.
These themes will serve as a starting point for reinterpretation, bridging the worlds of whisky making and fashion design, and encouraging unexpected yet meaningful creative perspectives rooted in shared values of craftsmanship and innovation.
The activation: Aberfeldy Creative Community
At the heart of the collaboration is the search for an emerging German designer. The chosen designer will have the opportunity to reinterpret the Aberfeldy universe by designing a limited-edition outer sleeve design for the brand's iconic expression: Aberfeldy 12 Year Old. This transformation elevates the product into a collectible design object, merging functionality with artistic expression.
Aberfeldy 12 Year Old is renowned for its rich, golden colour and its famously smooth, honeyed taste profile. Matured in a combination of Sherry, Bourbon, re-fill, and re-char casks, it features decadent notes of butter toffee, warm cinnamon, vanilla, and fresh, juicy stone fruits.
The final design will be produced and unveiled for the Christmas season.

Aberfeldy 12 is matured in a combination of Sherry, Bourbon, re-fill and re-char casks: Light, honeyed, and approachable, with notes of butter toffee, cinnamon, vanilla and juicy fruit flavours.

The winner will receive a prize of €5,000. The Fashion Council Germany will cover production costs of up to €1,000, and materials will be sponsored by ZEROW.
