BACARDI NH7 Weekender 2012, India's Happiest Music Festival

Over 200 music artists from all over the world came together to perform at India's biggest multi genre music festival, BACARDI NH7 Weekender, in 2012. Over 50,000 music enthusiasts attended the festival which took place across three weekends from October to December.

For three months straight, festival goers got their weekend music fix as the festival travelled from Delhi (October) to Pune (November) to Bangalore (December). Each festival was curated especially for its city, featuring a host of different bands and artists while still retaining the classic Bacardi NH7 Weekender vibe.

In each city where the festival took place, four stages were set up dedicated to a different genre of music. These stages included the following: Eristoff Wolves Den with popular dance and electronica music; The Dewarists Stage with folk and fusion music; Bacardi Black Rock Arena with rock and metal and a Bacardi Breezer area with a DJ playing reggae, funk, jazz and salsa music.

Karnivool – Australian progressive rock giants Seun Kuti and Egypt 80 – The youngest son of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, Seun Kuti leads his late father’s magnificent Nigerian band Egypt 80.
