To celebrate a long summer of music, which has already seen BACARDÍ team up with Major Lazer and Anitta for a new track called ‘Make It Hot’, the rum brand today announces a new dance class launching in Shoreditch in August.
The class has been developed in collaboration with Ashley Roberts, TV & radio presenter, Pussycat Doll, West End star and Strictly Come Dancing finalist, and fitness studio FRAME, known for its feel-good, energetic and fun-filled classes.
Choreography is set to the infectiously upbeat ‘Make It Hot’, as well as other tracks that embody the irresistibly uplifting ‘Sound of Rum’. Celebrating the sounds that make you want to move, the ‘Sound of Rum’ encompasses different genres with a Caribbean influence inspired by the rum brand’s vibrant island heritage.
The dance class will launch in FRAME’s Shoreditch Studio on 29 August and will run weekly on Thursdays through to 26 September. As part of the ticket, class goers can enjoy a well-deserved post-class BACARDÍ cocktail at Shoreditch’s ultimate street food stop, Boxpark.
“From the moment you hear ‘Make It Hot’ you want to get up and dance, so I jumped at the chance to work with BACARDÍ to launch a new class inspired by the track,” says Ashley Roberts. “Whether you’re an advanced dancer or just a beginner, this class has been created for everyone to get involved and with a free BACARDÍ cocktail to enjoy after the class – what’s not to love!”
